On the 29th of September I went to the Guinness storehouse in Dublin city. I took the dart in at 10:30 from the McDonald's in Bray and our excursion had began. We arrived in Dublin 20 minutes late to our 11:30 tour, none the less they let us in after checking our tickets. We started the tour on the ground floor, the building itself is 7 stories with a 'gravity bar' on the top level which has a beautiful view of the whole city. The entire room was circular with just one massive window pane going all the way around.
On the ground floor they had a mild introduction into how the world famous beer was actually made. They had a massive pit of barley and a small waterfall. On the second floor they had to screens with audio which told us when the factory was built and how many barrels of Guinness they were producing annually. They had excellent design in the building and had a tantastic layout of all their information.
My favourite floor was the 5th floor. On the 5th floor they had a massive dark room and the whole wall all the way around had projections of Guinness adds from the 1st one they ever made to the most recent one. I have to say the whole trip was an amazing experience and I leaned a lot about Irish culture and history.
